Situated amongst 107 hectares of private organic farmland, consisting of vineyards, olive groves and orchards, this is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, and relaxation in a very natural environment. Guests may purchase fresh organic produce from the farm, and are welcome to pick fruit from the orchards.

 

This location is classic Tuscany with panoramas of mellow rolling hills, tiny villages and farmland.

The lovingly restored Borgo Vitigni is an old stone colonial house, situated 420 M above sea level and enjoys an elevated position enjoying beautiful views overlooking the local landscape.

This wonderful building has been split into 5 bright, airy, fresh, and spacious apartments, furnished in a pleasing simple/Scandinavian feel style. Each apartment has been refurbished making the most of the natural light, and each has its own individual eating area, perfect for dining al fresco and enjoying the countryside.

There is a good sized swimming pool of 15M x 5M also with a mesmerising view… The pool has a decked surround, plenty of sunbeds, and has a covered pergola area to the side for relaxing quietly in the shade.

Details of each individual apartment are:

PERGOLA (2 plus 2 guests) : open plan living /kitchen diner with single sofa bed and fireplace. Living area has arched doorway leading to beautiful terrace with covered pergola, large double bedroom (with room for extra bed on request),  shower room

RONDINI  (2 plus 2 guests) open plan living /kitchen diner with single sofa bed. Living area leads to covered pergola/terrace with beautiful views.  Large double bedroom (with room for extra bed on request), shower room and terrace .

MELO (2 guests)  Bright Living room, with wood stove, arch windows and double doors onto covered terrace with stunning view, kitchen, double bedrroom .

GINESTRE  (2 plus 2 guests) bright open plan living /kitchen diner with single sofa bed, and fireplace large galleried bedroom (with room for extra bed on request),  shower room  and garden area/terrace with gazebo  .

COLOMBAIA: 2 plus 2 guests) situated over two floors; downstairs:  living room/diner with sofa bed (plus extra bed on request)  kitchen with door leading to garden  and bathroom with shower,  Upstairs: double room – gallery style .

 

Additional services:

  • Twice weekly home cooked, meals using local produce, prepared in the restaurant at the farm, (subject to numbers).
  • The farm has massage rooms and massages or reike treatments using a local qualified therapist can be arranged on request .
  • Wifi internet access at farm office
  • Farm shop selling organic home grown produce when in season, as well as the farm’s own Chianti wine, Olive Oil, Vinsanto and massage oil. There is also a selection of locally made artisan products.
