The house is extremely well located, just 20 minutes from Ancona airport (cheap flights!), and 15 minutes from Monte Conero, a scenic seaside area recognised as having the clearest, cleanest waters of the Adriatic coast. There are also plenty of mediaeval villages and towns to explore - this area has recently been described as the 'unknown Tuscany' (situated just to the East of Tuscany, & North of Umbria). There is fishing and horse-riding nearby, and for a refreshing walk, a good restaurant is 20 minutes by foot.

1 hr 15 mins from Rimini airport, and 1 hr 50 mins from Bologna, Forli. Centrally located for exploring Central/Northern Italy.
