This  two bedroom cottage, with its two terraces, is a newly and very lovingly restored quaint beautiful stone-built house ideal for romantics! There are original beams, traditional flooring, beautiful windows with stone windowsills, exposed stonework in places, and exposed original woodwork.

The property is situated in the midst of a beautiful village with both lake and mountain views, and is one of those rare properties in the area where one can walk to a choice of restaurants.

Enter into the property via ground floor eating terrace looking into the village, into a cosy living room with large open fireplace. The living room leads into the good sized kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.

Stairs from the living room also lead to two bedrooms each with a double bed, and a pristine shower/wet room.

From the landing, walk up to the roof terrace, where one can laze for the day enjoying the mountain and lake views, or maybe relax with pre dinner drinks.....

The cottage is situated in the historic centre of a peaceful lakeside village in the depths of the Apuane National Park.
Unusually for this area, and despite the peace, it is possible to walk to 4 restaurants, a couple of bars, and two basic shops. There is also an outdoor village pool within a 15 minute or so walk...

The Vagli lake is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by majestic mountains and stunning countryside. The lake was created by damming the river in 1946 and in the process the 13th Century village of Fabbriche di Careggine was submerged. Around every 10 years or so, the lake is drained, the village emerges and it is possible to walk around the basis and explore...Since this is a dammed lake, the water level can fluctuate...
