The apartment retains many original features, boasting chestnut wood beams and beautiful floors throughout. The open plan kitchen/living room/diner has a large fireplace, and the bedrooms are beautifully furnished in a traditional style.

There is also a private downstairs garden, with adjoining room for relaxing close the garden should a rest from the heat, or a short shower be required.

No cars are permitted in the ancient part of this interesting village,(free parking at 'the square' )and the only sound to be heard is the chiming of churchbells!
This is a real romantic treat!!

The house is reached via a 2 minute walk from the village square through mediaeval streets, where cars cannot pass .
The house is situated right on the edge of the village in a very peaceful location, with the best views!!!!!!!
The village boasts a small shop open every day, and a restaurant which is open every evening in the summer, & weekends out of season.
The vegetable van also visits weekly for those authentic Italian shops with the locals!
There are plenty of places to eat very well, and very cheaply locally, but you do need a car, and a phrase book!

• The apartment has a large living room/dining room/kitchen area, with beamed ceilings and fireplace. There is a TV and sofa bed.
• There are 2 well furnished double bedrooms, and a bunk room with very large handmade strong wooden beds - large enough for adults
• There in one bathroom and one shower room.
• Downstairs and outside there is a garden with table and chairs, and also a downstairs 'garden room'.
• The house is centrally heated - heating payable locally. Wood for fire provided free of charge

• Vallico Nobile

Vallico is set high in the hills, circa 1 hr 15 mins North of Pisa, and one hour North of Lucca in the green and luscious Garfagnana region of Northern Tuscany.

Beat the crowd - this is away from it all Italy, although within reach of Pisa (1hr 15mins), Lucca (50 mins), Florence (1hr 40 mins), Barga (25 mins), and Castelnuovo (30 mins), with thousands of villages besides! The coast is 1 hr 15 mins away.
Airports - Pisa as above; Genoa & Bologna 2.5 hrs; Florence as above.
