Located on 2 floors, downstairs there is a large hallway, with an open plan but 'divided' living area stretching right across the house. To the left is a cook's dream of a kitchen with all mod cons including 9 ring hob, two ovens, and US style Fridge, and drinks cooler... To the right is a large dining room leading to a comfortable living area with fireplace and comfy sofas. Both the dining room and the kitchen open onto an enormous eating terrace complete with traditional outdoor pizza oven and BBQ. A personal chef can be arranged on request. WIFI internet access

Upstairs there are 4 double bedrooms each with its own ensuite all leading out to the 2nd terrace area behind the house. The house is well furnished and great care has been taken with the detail, with the builders having restored all the original chestnut beamed ceilings.
Three of the four bedrooms are large enough to accommodate an additional single bed for family groups or for guests not travelling as couples, although there is a cost of €30 per week for each additional bed required.

The front terrace leads to a garden area with luxury pool (12M x 6M), with jacuzzi area.

Please note there is a further house split into 2 apartments on site, with its own identical pool. There is full privacy for each house, but this additional property gives flexibility for larger groups if required

Giove is situated just above the village of Cereto which looks down over Borgo a Mozzano. A convenient location only half hour from the medieaval walled towns of Lucca (30 mins) and Barga (20 MINS). Pisa is 50 mins away and Florence 1hr 15 mins. Borgo itself has some bars, restaurants and shops, with a couple of restaurants within walking distance. A trip to the beach will take around 45 mins. All the benefits of being central the house is still within easy reach of the increasingly popular Garfagnana area with its two National Parks . There are plenty of walking and picnicking opportunities in the area, and many many hilltop villages to explore. Countryside abounds in this area for a truly rural holiday
