• This floor is where the second kitchen/living/diner is situated which has double doors leading outside, and dining table, sofa, as well as fully equipped kitchen. (oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave)
• Wood burning stove.
• The washing machine is situated in the utility room accessed externally.

The villa is conveniently situated less than a 5 minute drive from the bustling market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, with its bars, restaurants, shops, famous Thursday morning market, and train station for easy exploring.
The property is also within walking distance of a lovely restaurant, situated inside the walls of the town fortress - a real treat!

The walk into town itself for a further selection of facilities,  is a 15 minute walk downhill, much more on the way up!

Castelnuovo itself is less than an hour from the walled Mediaeval City of Lucca; 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Barga, 1 hr 20 mins from Pisa, 1 hr 40 mins from Florence, and 1 hour over the mountains to the coast.

For those days when townie days do not appeal, and lying beside the pool is just too tiring, then the natural beauty of the Garfagnana, with its mountain ranges, wildlife, and hundreds of hilltop villages is on the doorstep.......
