The Villa itself, which sleeps 10, has 6 bedrooms furnished with beautiful antiques, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and various living areas including lounges, music room and library. One of the living areas leads onto a small private walled ‘secret’ garden.

The property is a total one off hideaway, with lots of character and history, and would provide a real adventure for children, playing hide and seek both inside and out! And, imagine showing photos of that walled garden to your friends!

This Villa is situated in a tiny hilltop village in the totally unspoilt Garfagnana area, and is really a perfect hideway from modern life!
The village has no amenities, but the next village down, say 1km has a school, shop, bar, post office, and pharmacy.
There is a restaurant say 2km away and for 2010 there should be another say 1.5km from the villa.
Further restaurants, bars, supermarkets and all other amenities can be found in the nearby town of Castelnuovo di Garfganana – say a 12 minute drive, and 15/20 minutes away in the beautiful historic town of Barga.
The villa is circa 1 hour north of Lucca, and 1 hr 20 mins from Pisa.
