The trees in the garden provide welcome natural shade, although there are of course umbrellas, and the covered loggia overlooking the garden and pool is also a perfect place to relax out of the heat of the sun, and to dine al fresco.

Inside, the large kitchen/diner with fireplace, is well equipped, and opens out onto the terrace/loggia as does the living room which provides comfy seating.

Two of the bedrooms are double, with the third, ideal for children with bunk beds and a further single bed.

The brand new pool is 5M x 10M plus Roman Steps and is lit at night. The depth is 1.4/1.5M.

Between June and September the owner will be happy to provide meals (cooking only) at the property, for those evenings when guests do not wish to venture out.

Casetta Noci is immersed in the heart of the green and mountainous Garfagnana region of Northern Tuscany. The property is 1hr 15 mins north of Lucca, less than 2 hrs from Florence and 90 mins. from Pisa.

Castelnuovo, famous for its Thursday morning market is around a 20 minute or so drive, and the beautiful mediaeval town of Barga 40 mins.

Garfagnana with its stunning scenery is perfect for walking, picknicking, relaxing, visiting countless hilltop villages, visiting the National Parks of the region.

The closest larger village is Camporgiano around 2km away - there is a small supermarket, a few shops, bars, a couple of good restaurants, small Monday morning market, pharmacy, and train station for easy exploring of the area.

There are plenty of walking trails starting in the village of Casatico 1km or so up the hill.
