These are well characther restored farmhouses set in the hills of the totally unspoilt, green & mountainous region of Northern Tuscany. The views from the houses and the pool are beautiful, & the extensive grounds are the perfect place to relax. Each property has a private outside eating space / terrace / BBQ & outdoor oven &, you may pick produce from the grounds for your al fresco meals!

This is a real retreat away from it all, yet only 5 mins by car to a large village with supermarkets, bars, restaurants & train station serving Lucca, Barga, Pisa, Florence & The Cinque Terre.

The man visits daily bread, vegetables are available on site, and ounces per week there is the opportunity to sample local food & wine Garfagnanan at a very good price - the main courses are cooked in the oven outside . Babysitting, and daily cleaning service also available. A real treat!

Casina Lino  is a newly built detached house with private terrace.

It is arranged over 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms (one double, and one single), and one shower room. The house is furnished in a modern style. The open plan living / kitchen / dining area is well equipped, with oven, hob, washing machine, fridge / freezer, and satellite TV / DVD and Internet Access. Do note there is a spiral staircase leading from the living / dining area down to the bedrooms

Outside, the house has its own balcony / terrace area for eating al fresco, BBQ and a small private garden. Views from this house are beautiful -dine with a view of the mountains! The property is independent, but shares extensive grounds with the other houses on the site, including a swimming pool (12MX6M).

Elderberry - Situated 1 hour North of the medieval city of Lucca, and 25 minutes North of the market town of Castelnuovo, Casina Lino nestles in the midst of hills, and situated approximately 1km from the Road , just North of the tiny village of Contra.
The grounds are extensive, and parts of the gardens are used for growing local produce, Which guests are welcome to use.
Whilst Nicciano has some facilities, the local village of Al Serchio Square with its bars, restaurants, supermarkets, Tuesday Morning Market, and Train Station is less than a 5-minute drive away and bread is delivered each morning.
The views from this extremely peaceful site are magnificent - the houses overlook the Serchio green and fertile valley, with views of the Apuan Alps and Appenine.
This really is the perfect location - an ideal place to unwind deep In the countryside, yet close enough to all local amenities, and a convenient base for exploring by car or train.
