The house retains its original fireplaces and plenty of other features, and has been painted in traditional Tuscan colors giving a warm peaceful feel to the interior.

This spacious detached house with private infinity style pool, spa and luxury covered area, is located within an electronically gated garden, consisting of various terraces and vineyards. The house itself is situated on the foothills of the Appenines, and has a view is over the Serchio Valley with the Apuan Alps beyond.

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one with tub as well as shower), spacious living room and dining room, and well equipped kitchen.

The house is located within walking distance of an excellent restaurant, but for those evenings when you wish to stay at home, we can arrange for a personal chef.

• oven, hob, grill, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, table etc. ..
• Second hallway, leads outside to original wood burning oven.
• Downstairs there is also a single bedroom, Which can also be made into a bunk room.
• Ground floor shower room.

  • Large Landing with comfy seating, and with double doors leading to terrace Which spans the entire front of the house. From the landing there are three bedrooms:

Despite the peaceful country location just 20 mins by car from the Appenine peaks, the house is situated 1 hour north of Lucca, and only 1.5km from the large village of Pieve Fosciana. This village boasts all amenities, including what is considered by many, to be the best restaurant in the area, a wonderful delicatessen shop and many other shops, banks, and bars.
Less than 5 minutes in the car, is the market town of Castelnuovo with its famous Thursday morning market, shops, bars, restaurants and train station for easy exploring.
Hill top villages abound for relaxing days exploring locally, and the Apuan peaks are only a 20 min drive away too.
