The site consist of two newly restored traditional stone buildings set in a stunning edge of village location with views over the mountains.

There is a good quality, brand new infinity style heated pool for the exclusive use of guests.

The accommodation is split as follows:

Main Farmhouse – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping 6 + 2

Internally, the house has been restored to a high standard with traditional flooring, and beamed ceilings throughout. The kitchen has been hand made with reclaimed local wood, but boasts all modern conveniences including Carrara marble sink. There are original features throughout such as open fireplace in living room, and cotto washing clothes tub in dining room.

Really spacious, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and lots of entertainment (English TV, Playstation 2, DVD, good quality stereo) this is an ideal family choice, but would also be perfect as a romantic treat for two...

FIENO
– 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 cloakroom sleeping 2 plus 2
A detached, romantic newly converted barn retaining its original arch vaulted beamed ceilings, with new rustic style cotto flooring to complete the traditional/romantic theme.
On the ground floor there is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with sofa bed, and a cloakroom with downstairs WC.
Upstairs which is reached by solid chestnut stairs, there is a large bedroom with 4 poster bed, with ensuite bathroom (with luxury of both bath, and power shower over) and dressing room.
Ideal for a small family or couple which are part of the main group but requie privacy and some romance!

Outside, there is around half an acre of land, stunning views and 13M x 5M infinity style heated pool with roman steps– swim in the mountains!

For larger groups, there is Vibbianella, which is a further beautifully renovated village property just a 30 second walk away, sleeping 4 plus 1 and which can be hired in conjunction with Vibbiana for between £175 and £395 per week as an optional extra. If not hired then guests will still have exclusive use of property, garden and pool .

• Vibbianella

The property is situated on the edge of an ancient village in the heart of the Garfagnana, around 1 hr 15 mins north of Lucca.
The tiny village, which is famous for its cheese making, has a small bar with basic shopping available, and neighbours will be happy to sell you their home grown produce.
There are lots of tiny villages around, including one famous for its ‘cheese throwing’ which is less than a 5 minute drive, and the National Park of Orecchiella is only a 20 min leisurely drive too.
The closest larger village with all facilities including train station is around a 10 minute drive.
The market town of Castelnuovo with its famous Thursday morning market is a 20 minute drive.
There are plenty of restaurants within a 15/20 min drive……
Drive time from Pisa is around 90 minutes
