We spent our summer holiday this August with 2 families (4
adults & 3 children/teens) in this great house in Barga. The
house had everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The property is
a little winding and quirky, but that's exactly what makes it
special. In the surrounding area you can enjoy great hikes, and the
small town of Barga is also very nice. We definitely recommend this
location.

We had a lovely stay at Loretta and Benito's place. The house is
in a marvellous setting with a fantastic view. The garden is
terraced on several levels and holds olive and fruit trees. The
pool is a few terraces down from the house, with plenty of space
for the whole family. It is secluded with views over the mountains,
is large enough to swim in, and the teenagers spend most of their
time there. There are many places to relax, whether in the sun or
shade, but we particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining area behind
the kitchen. We spent every night there barbecuing, socialising,
and watching the fireflies. You feel like you are dropped into
nature in this house. The garden is a bit wild, and we spotted wild
boars down by the river. There is the green valley below and the
amazing view over the mountains. We made several hikes (I recommend
the Komoot app!). You should not miss hiking in the Apuan Alps! I
got the feeling of coming home to Granny's house. And I mean that
in a good way - it's not fancy, but it feels like a place that
someone has loved.

The holiday home was perfect for us - six adults and three
children/teenagers. The pool is a nice size and we all made good
use of it. The rooms are beautifully and lovingly decorated and we
felt very comfortable. The landlords are extremely friendly and
easy to reach. You have to plan a bit of time for excursions in the
surrounding area or to the sea.

Property around barga, charming village view of the property and the exceptional swimming pool. orchard on the property, stream, lush vegetation... very functional accommodation, several terraces with barbecue. excellent welcome from the owners. everything is present in the accommodation for a carefree stay. the swimming pool is large, ideally located. for those who prefer to move, starting point for many excursions (province of Lucca, Florence, Pisa...) with a very useful guide provided by the owners. also allows you to discover the lesser known region of garfagnagna. in summary excellent services, stay recommended.

A cosy, fully and functionally equipped house with space for two to six people, a huge, beautiful garden with several terraces and seating areas, a large pool and, above all, a great location with a great view: quiet, beautiful, but well connected and not too lonely.

Stunningly located property with multiple terraces to sit out and enjoy open views of forests, mountains and the river. Beautiful pool to cool off after a day relaxing or exploring Barga and the local area. Birdsong in the morning and fireflies in the evening. Lovely agent/owner always ready to help and provide advice on restaurants and local villages to visit. Highly recommended.
