We read all the reviews before booking but were astonished that the reality far exceeded our high hopes. It was the most beautiful location, the stunning backdrop of the mountains made time in the gardens magical. Communication prior to our trip was extremely quick, helpful and courteous. On arrival we were met by Stefano who checked us into the property, showed us around and made us feel very settled. He was also extremely helpful throughout our stay making himself available to answer many questions and give recommendations for days out. It was a little slice of tranquility that we were sad to leave, and would recommend highly this property for both young and old, being very well equipped for both.

Beautiful property that allows for relaxation and rest. Table tennis, pool, and trampoline let the children have fun in an exceptional setting. Marco's welcome is exceptional and thoughtful. Highly recommended without hesitation.

Friendly and helpful owners and beautiful spot with amazing views. Great pool although not the jacuzzi advertised. Loads of parking although the approach took a bit of getting used to! Proper local bar and restaurant in the village and great walking for the more adventurous of our group. We really unwound and were sad to leave.

The Residence il Palazzo dal 1894 is located away from the village and is surrounded by old trees. A stately, renovated house. The lovingly furnished and spacious rooms are very inviting. The outbuilding with bathroom, kitchen and large windows has also been beautifully renovated and furnished. We immediately felt at home. But the highlight for us was the pool with the large lawn and the marvellous view. Fantastic! Not so important, but even the park area with the many olive trees is beautiful. A pergola leads from there to the house. The suitcases can be unloaded directly in front of the house. The very friendly landlord was always available and contact was easy. We also recommend the pizza evening. The various pizzas, which are baked directly on site in the stone oven, were exceptionally good. Many thanks to the two 'bakers', especially for the lovely birthday surprise. All in all, our expectations were exceeded.

The most immediately striking thing about the property is the garden - spectacular views of the mountains and a large and stylish swimming pool. But the house is also great, with large rooms and, a well-equipped kitchen. Stefano was a helpful, responsive and friendly host.

A quiet place in the middle of several small villages. The house and annex are spacious and equipped with all amenities. The swimming pool and surrounding garden is spacious and lovely. The house is located high in the mountains, the route to it is narrow, hilly and not always easy to prepare. Please take this into account. Furthermore, a top house with the opportunity to explore much of the area. And a big compliment for the reception and the source of information Elettra! Tip: visit the city of Lucca, La Spezzia, Equi Terme (cave visit) and Lago di Gramolazzo. Also do a concert evening at Agriturismo Tripala!

It was a wonderful stay, the villa with its charm of the early '900, the large park with a beautiful swimming pool, the fascinating landscape. Our 6 boys were enthusiastic about the holiday, we adults were able to live an experience of great emotion in the fantastic solitude of the location. Finally a holiday all together without too many distractions.

We loved our experience at La Palazzo. We have had many vacation rentals over the years and this stood out as one of best. The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Marco and the other property managers were helpful and gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants, shops and sites to visit. The grounds and house were beautifully tended and the pool was perfect. We were two families with plenty of space to roam. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
