Spacious house. Everyone had their own room and bathroom - very nice. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely garden with pool.

We stayed here for 5 days and I never wanted to leave. The area is beautiful, and the villa is perfekt for a getaway for a group. We where quite lucky also with the festival in town. Seems like the area have a lot going on.

In the hills above the charming town of Castiglion Fiorentino, this villa was a delightful spot for our week in Tuscany. The owner was very helpful and the food she cooked for us was delicious. We spent several lazy days enjoying the pool and walking around the area, mixed with more active days: taking the train to Florence, driving to Arezzo and Cortona. It was a lovely spot.

 The villa was perfectly appointed, everything from the monogrammed linens to the high quality glass and dishware. The bedrooms had picture-perfect views of the incredible Tuscan landscape.It was so spacious that our party of 7 adults could easily share in communal events, like breakfast off the kitchen terrace or drinks and dinner at poolside, while having absolute privacy in our respective bedrooms. The grounds offered quintessential views of the Tuscan hillsides in every direction you looked! The infinity pool was set into this view. The town of Castiglion Fiorentino was as authentic as a hill town could get! Delicious food, reasonably priced, and lots of history to discover. The hosts, Linda and Jaime, were amazing. We loved learning about the 500 year history of Linda's family in this villa and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by them. Honestly, I have only positive things to say about my experience here and would heartily recommend!!

We are traveling with 6 persons through Italy. This villa was a wonderful change of pace to the crowded streets of the cities. Beauty, clean, and well stocked. A little off the grid but worth the train rides and car rental.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm, rustic charm that Tuscany is famous for. The villa is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of olive groves, vineyards and picturesque rolling hills. The host met us when we arrived and was attentive to our needs during our stay. The villa was spacious and clean and the outdoor space was a true haven. You will need access to a car or limo/tour guide if you want to explore Siena or Florence which we highly recommend.

The house is over 500 years old and well kept. It has hardwood floors, floors made of stone, and tiled floors. Ceilings with big beams, old fireplaces, and walls that have heard many a secret. It is easy to imagine all the history it has witnessed. The view is breathtaking, with rolling hills of green, olive groves, grape fields and more. During our stay of 2 weeks we spent some time doing nothing, except relaxing by the pool, and playing with the children in the pool. However, the location is good as a base for exploring and visiting old medieval villages, such as Cortona, Arezzo, Siena, and of course Castiglion Fiorentino. We also had 2 day trips to Florence by train. We booked a wine tasting and lunch at the winery «Buccelletti» down the road, a five-minute walk from the house. Beautiful place and a lovely experience. Linda's family has been there for generations, and she and her husband take great pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible. There is air-conditioning in 3 of the spacious bedrooms. My daughter and I stayed in the bedroom with no air-conditioning, and it was fine due to the thick walls of the house. It was nice and cool inside, even though it was up to 38 degrees C outside. If you are looking for a place to stay with your family in Tuscany, I do not hesitate to recommend this place. If you book La Fenice you can have a nice, adventurous and relaxing holiday - all at the same time!

Fenice was a perfect example of a traditional tuscan hideaway with nothing but hills and trees to gaze upon. The villa was spacious enough for us all - two families or four with kids under 12 and the grandparents! The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were all perfectly clean and comfortable (with aircon in every bedroom which was a welcome relief from the august heat) and the pool area was just beautiful with plenty of seating and grassy areas for the children to play. There are a lot of steps so wouldn't be suitable for someone who struggles with their mobility. No shops nearby on foot but plenty of choices of restaurants, cafes, gelaterias and supermarkets 10mins drive in nearby Castiglion Fiorentino. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday but with nearby tuscan towns and villages in easy reach, it's a great base for exploring the wider area as well.

We could not have asked for a more amazing experience. We loved everything about this property… amazing views, great hosts, picturesque city and delicious food and wine. Linda was always available to answer any questions and we would highly recommend the delicious meals they offer on request. The accommodations were like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern amenities (including an ice machine in the fridge). Thank you Linda for such a great experience!

Linda and Jamie were amazing. The house was very comfortable. The different levels were different for us, but worked out. Especially with multi families for privacy. The grounds were beautiful. There were a lot of ants, bees, bugs in general around the pool so it was hard at times to use. Especially could not enjoy meals outside, but overall the grounds were just beautiful. Linda went out of her way to accommodate extra family in their private unit. Great way to end our month vacation around Italy.

Pretty country house with a magnificent swimming pool and a garden full of flowers and aromatic herbs. Three air-conditioned bedrooms and one non-air-conditioned attic bedroom. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay with the family.

A piece of heaven with a couple of angels to watch over us.
Absolutely superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We had two delicious meals cooked by Linda and we left with her homemade limoncello and olive oil. Peaceful, beautiful grounds with wonderful walks straight from the house. Tennis club 5 min drive away, and a local train station that whisked us off to Florence for the day. Don't miss Snoopy's gelato in the local town. This holiday was a 5* experience.

My husband and I, our daughter and 3 granddaughters and boyfriend absolutely loved the Fenice Tuscan Villa. We were warmly greeted by the owners. They gave attention to every detail of our stay. The villa was spacious and comfortable for our large family. We enjoyed the chef-prepared breakfast each morning outside beside the pool. The view of the Tuscan Countryside was breathtaking. A highlight of our stay was a local wine tasting. We highly recommend this property!

Incredible warm and welcoming hosts and property. Perfect retreat from the hustle of the cities. Nestled into olive groves and down the street from a winery. We spent 11 days and weren't sad about it. Thank you Linda and Jaime!

My family of 5 just finished our 6 day stay at the Fenice Villa. The home is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The pool overlooks the Tuscan hillside and is perfect for relaxing and cooling off. It is just a 10 minute car ride to a grocery store and to the train station where you can easily travel to different Tuscan cities. The best gelato we had in Italy was at Snoopy's right in Castiglion Fiorentino. The owners, Linda and Jaime, could not have been more gracious and accommodating. They were immediately available to help us with whatever we needed. We can't say enough good things about our trip. We were sad to leave our Tuscan villa and hope to return again someday.

Incredible place to get away with your family. Linda and her husband could not be more hospitable. Property, pool and all around feel was great. The town of Castiglione Fiorentino was very friendly and had some fun spots to eat.

This place was truly relaxing. It was a beautiful and quiet place, the house was amazing and the kitchen was great. The grounds were top notch. It was an 8 min drive to town, and there were multiple walled cities to see within 20-90 mins away. Easy to access. The hosts were wonderful. We went with another couple and our two kids. There was room for everyone to spread out, inside and out. Afternoons by the pool was a big hit.

We spent a wonderful 9-day family holiday (8 people) in Villa La Fenice in September. The villa, the garden with pool and the whole area are a dream. The presentation of the property and the facility on the internet is absolutely correct. Everything is beautiful and well maintained. The owners, Linda and Jaime, are wonderful and very helpful hosts who do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. A big thank you again to both of them !! We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back!

The house is over 100 years old and stylishly renovated. Super fast internet, very well equipped kitchen and air conditioning in 3 bedrooms. The landlords speak fluent English and are very accommodating. They live in the same house and maintain the huge pool and garden, but you don't see or hear them. Otherwise there is absolute silence. Very beautiful!

This is a well kept property with plenty of space for a family. Linda - the property owner - is fluent in English and always available to help. She is a very nice and honest person. She was also super helpful with securing an appointment to get our Covid tests before returning to US. The property is located next to the small town of Castiglion Fiorentino which has surprisingly great dining options, with affordable prices and English speaking personnel. Very pleased with our stay.

We were here in August with 2 families (4 adults and 5 children). And it was wonderful.
The private house has all the services you need. No other guests in our case.
A private large swimming pool (2.20m max depth) in front of the door with lovely sunbeds and umbrellas.
Also plenty of possibilities to stay in the sun or in the shade.
The owner Linda is super friendly, speaks good English and is easily accessible for all your questions.
Everything was neat and clean on arrival, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen etc...
On request you can have breakfast, dinner or even a cooking course provided by Linda.
We did breakfast and that was also very well taken care of.
The view from the pool is also beautiful and invites you to relax.
