A little about the area:

The villetta  is conveniently situated a 5 minute drive from the bustling market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, with its bars, restaurants, shops, famous Thursday morning market, and train station for easy exploring.If you like walking then there is a good restaurant a 30 min walk away (3 mins in the car) in the other direction.

You can also walk up to Monte Alfonso, the local fortress in 15 minutes.
