We have had the most amazing family holiday in this beautiful
accommodation, it was absolutely perfect, all the rooms are full of
character and very traditional. Everywhere was immaculately clean,
the grounds are perfectly maintained and the views are spectacular.
The hosts were second to none, so friendly and helpful. We couldn't
have asked for more.

If you are looking for a nicely decorated and quiet (and cool)
vacation rental in a magnificent environment, this is the perfect
place. On the other hand, be aware that you would be far from the
key sites of Tuscany. We were a group of 14 people and we divided
ourselves into the 6 rooms in which it was still a little cramped
for some. There is a large shared dining room where there is a
washing machine and dishwasher a large sink. Unfortunately there is
no possibility for cooking in this room. As a result, we had to
cook for 14 in the small kitchen niches of the different
accommodations. The logistics of the meals were therefore a bit
difficult. But once the meal was served on the beautiful table on
the terrace with this magnificent view of the Apuan Alps, this
inconvenience was quickly forgotten! In the beautiful little house
there is only one bathroom for 5 or even 6 people. The house is
very beautiful and the land is immense. Many thanks to Emanuele and
his wife (owners) who were more than available to our various and
varied requests!

The property is fantastic and the view enchanting! Emanuele and
his family are the perfect hosts -- attentive, responsive, but
extremely discreet. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, and
absolutely spotless, and the outside matches the inside with
countless corners to relax and enjoy the panorama, including the
lovely swimming pool overlooking the majestic peaks and valleys of
the Garfagnana.

The owner is very nice and supportive. Everything worked fine.
We had a relaxing week at the resort. The view of hills and
mountains is great. The spacious complex offers a lot of individual
space. The individual apartments are individually, attractively
designed and well equipped. It was very quiet (no street or
neighbors). Bakery and butcher 1km away - restaurants 4km
away.
Arrival 27th May
We enjoyed our week at the house. The views across the valley were amazing and ever changing. The house was clean, comfortable and much more spacious than expected-plenty of indoor and outdoor facilities for eating and socialising as a group or various spaces to read or just appreciate the view. It is well stocked for self-catering. The individual apartments allowed for some privacy and space and the pool was fabulous and much appreciated on hot, sunny days The owner and his family were very welcoming and on hand if anything was needed. He visits the estate daily to tend to the various animals and birds they keep there (you are welcome to visit them during your stay). The house is set up the valley from the village, which means there is plenty of privacy but a car is needed to get around the area. Being up in the hills meant it was cooler at night-much appreciated for a good nights sleep! There is plenty of walking and sightseeing in the area and it is only a 6 minute drive to the train station which takes you to Lucca and the local towns in between, if you'd prefer to leave your car. Do try and get to the Il Merendero Pizzeria in the village if you can. An extra treat were the daily displays from the magical fireflies and the star gazing at night. A beautiful setting and house-a memorable holiday for us all.

We celebrated our parents' 80th birthday with my siblings
and their families for a week in the Eleonora farmhouse and it was
just fantastic. From the small children and teenagers to the
grandparents, everyone enjoyed their stay very much. Everything was
just perfect: the landscape, the location, the view, the apartments
and grounds, the pool, the animals, not to mention Emanuele and his
family who were incredibly helpful in taking care of everything -
you couldn't ask for better hosts to wish! And everything was even
nicer than in the pictures! It was really difficult for us to
leave. Thank you very much for this unforgettable
week!!!

Large house with several apartments We rented the whole
house for ourselves. Beautiful pool, beautiful view. The only
downside for us were the long driving times to, for example, the
cities in the area. Because of the remote location in the mountains
you were in the car for a long time every time.

The house is very beautiful and perfect for people who are
looking for peace and quiet or who want to be undisturbed. The view
is beautiful and there is also a lot of space on the property. The
landlord is really very nice and uncomplicated, you could reach him
at any time and he always supported us when we needed him (e.g.
when looking for a suitable restaurant). We can fully
recommend the house and would come back anytime!
