Fantastic Property

Fantastic property. Fully equipped, comfortable, spacious and private. Our days were spent relaxing by the pristine pool, taking in the vista and watching the wildlife. The track down to the house is such an adventure, especially at night! Perhaps avoided for low slung sports cars. Many thanks to the owners for the welcome basket. We arrived late, so the pasta, pesto and wine were a life saver! We loved the area, with much to explore. Mirco, the caretaker, was really helpful with recommendations. Loved the pizzeria in Chiozza and the regional food at Il Pozzo. Highly recommend this property as a relaxing retreat.

Our 7 night stay at Col di Maturaia Villa was wonderful. This charming, rustic villa situated in the mountains, offers breathtaking views, a clean and refreshing pool and a characterfulholiday home from home, filled with eclectic and antique, yet comfy furniture, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were met on arrival by Elisabetta who was very friendly, showing us around and explaining everything clearly, also recommending local places of interest to visit and restaurants to eat at. She also put us in touch with Mirco, a helpful guy who lives locally and who is readily available for any help needed at the villa.The location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, with a choice of balcony and terrace outdoor seating areas to enjoy Al Fresco dining and from where to watch deer meandering in the garden at dawn, and dancing fireflies at night.Col di Maturaia Villa is delightful and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Great house

Great house built in 1872 with lots of atmosphere and a fantastic view, very peaceful, surrounded by nature and animals. The access road is not suitable for sports suspensions. Excellent support.

Amazing house

Amazing house and surroundings Perfect for a complete get away.The property manager met us and gave us a full rundown at checking which was greatThe local restaurant IL Pozzo was fantastic.

Highly recommended

The villa and pool were exactly as described. Spacious, everything you need was there. Unfortunately the access road to the villa was a gravel track which took a long time and was very difficult to drive on. But otherwise everything was great! Pool was great and the view was outstanding. Stayed as friends.

Stunning Views

The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn't have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!

Wonderful family vacation

 We had a wonderful stay! Location, view, simplicity and comfort await you. The pool view is amazing and the area is full of activities and great little restaurants. At the first approach the road to the pass is very impressive but you will get used to it quickly (day and night) and your car is more solid than you think;) it is a little effort for an unforgettable stay!
