We stayed in an amazing villa, with friends and their kids for the first week. We had the villa to ourselves the second week. A fantastic clean, spacious villa. The host, Rita and her daughter, Livia were wonderful. The pool was perfect. The setting was breathtaking. The location was great. Managed to get to Lucca, Viareggio and Cinque Terre. Fantastic day outs. Loved the fact it was off the tourist trail. Thank you so much for giving us the best family holiday we've ever had xxxx

I had booked a house via Tuscan-Retreats 18 years ago for the family which at that time numbered 5. It was a great success and is still being talked about so it felt time to do it over again but this time with partners and grandchildren. A party of 9 required a larger property and after much deliberation we decided on the property at Piazza al Serchio. We would not be dissappointed, with 2 lounges, 2 dinning rooms, 2 kitchens, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms it had all the space we needed and then some. The outside space is equally well appointed and the grounds extensive and extremely well kept. In short we had a great time! The communication with the host was simple, quick and followed up immediately. The hosts mother popped round twice to make sure we had all the bedlinen and towels that we needed. In short just the perfect stay. My youngest granddaughter Zoey was complaining bitterly that she did not want to leave when it was time for them to move on to their second location in Croatia. That pretty much sums it all up for me too!

We stayed in this accommodation with 5 adults and 5 children. The house is perfectly equipped and offers plenty of space. The highlight is of course the pool with a pleasant seating area that offers shade even in the midday heat. The two landladies are really nice and occasionally come round with treats. We felt very comfortable. VG from Germany and occasionally bring food. Thanks again for everything!!!!

Very clean house, very warm welcome despite the language barrier, thank you for the delicious specialities, advert for heated swimming pool but we couldn't check as we found it a bit cold.

The nine of us and the dog enjoyed the perfectly equipped house in a dreamlike environment. Although the weather was changeable, we were able to use the pool sufficiently. Shops and good restaurants were within walking distance. Also possibilities for excursions were sufficient. We're always happy to come back!

we were warmly welcomed there was delicious cake and a bottle of wine. The house is very large and furnished separately since you live outside that is no problem there is plenty of space outside both in the shade and in the sun The pool is ideal especially at 35 degrees. the area is beautiful in the village you can go for groceries or eat out we enjoyed it

The house is very beautiful, spacious and stylish. All rooms are large and cozy. The garden and pool were tended daily. The photos correspond to reality. We were warmly welcomed by Rita and Lorraine, with sparkling wine and freshly baked cake and were pampered with fresh pasta, sweet pastries and hospitality over the course of the 2 weeks! The defective dishwasher was replaced very quickly. Both the adults and the children felt very comfortable in this house!
